Tanvir Ahmed Provokes BCCI With Derogatory ‘Wear Bangles’ Jab

Champions Trophy 2025: Eight teams will participate in this competition. As a result, teams from Bangladesh, England, India, Pakistan, South Africa, New Zealand, Afghanistan, and Australia will compete. The Indian team has been hesitant to travel to Pakistan because the Pakistan Cricket Board controls the right to host the 2025 Champions Trophy.

The Indian team's trip to Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy has been declined by the BCCI. A fresh discussion has begun ever since the Indian Cricket Board made their decision about this tournament public. Tanveer Ahmed, a former cricket player for Pakistan, went above all bounds and used derogatory language throughout this discussion.

What did Tanveer Ahmed say?

They have been claiming for a few days that India will not visit Pakistan. On social media, Tanveer stated that BCCI advised wearing bangles.
In addition, he used derogatory terms for the Indian Cricket Board, such as "liar," "ugly," "evil," and "double policy." According to Tanveer, it's preferable to have faith in a donkey that doesn't cheat than in BCCI.

Champions Trophy Ball at ICC Grounds:

The Pakistan Cricket Board vowed to boycott any tournament matches against India following the BCCI's ruling. Additionally, it has said that if it is not allowed to host the Champions Trophy, it will not be participating in the competition.

On Tuesday, November 12, the Pakistan Cricket Board emailed the ICC to request that the Board of Control for Cricket in India provide specific justifications for not sending Team India. The tournament schedule is also being considered, and the ICC is in continuous communication with all of the teams.

This implies that the ICC now has the last say in how the Champions Trophy is run; if the Pakistan Cricket Board is not prepared to run the competition under a hybrid model, the Champions Trophy may be moved to South Africa.
